Bracers.
They are civilians who vow to maintain safety and peace in their region, keeping monsters in check and preventing crime. Bracers are completely neutral and border on kingdomless; these are two of many factors that make young children yearn to one day join their ranks.
Near the city of Rolent, within the kingdom of Liberl, a Bracer lived together with his daughter, Estelle, who counted herself among the ranks of those yearning young children.

Estelle was not the only child in the household; she had been raised alongside an adoptive brother, an abandoned boy named Joshua. Together, they trained for the day that they might become Bracers.
Then, the day came when the children's father, Cassius, received a letter. After reading the letter, Cassius explained to his children that he must set out, alone, on a long journey.
The children, then only apprentice Bracers, had to take up the role and learn to work in his place.

In this era, the livelihood of the people was supported by Orbments.
50 years ago, during the Orbal Revolution, Orbments were utilized to accelerate technological development, producing airships and other luxuries; people's comfort and quality of life skyrocketed.
However, many nations began to weaponize Orbments, seeking to obtain dominance over this mix of lands. The lives of individuals were disregarded, left to be lost in the resultant confusion. It was during this era that the small kingdom of Liberl managed, against all odds, to proudly hold its own.


The stage of this dramatic story of people is set within that proud nation, and it chooses to follow the hero and her followers. Many will see Estelle achieve growth, both as a Bracer and as a human being.
