Quoted from the livestream site. The Sanctuary Crew is a group of gamers gathered from all over the nation- world (we have a member in the Netherlands). We play games together and stream them for many people to see. Our range of tastes is from the current modern day games, such as Valve's current run of FPS games, the latest MMOs like Final Fantasy XI and World of Warcraft, to the retro such as Legend of Zelda, Mario, and Mega Man... and of course, to the downright obscure, downright never-before-seen-in-the-US, and downright... awful? Well, that's if we troll the channel.
The Sanctuary Crew does crazy things, such as Mega Man races, or challenges in video games. If you come to watch, you never know- you might even be picked to be part of the Oregon Trail.
The Sanctuary Crew's streaming was brought together through a combination of efforts by ForteMP3 and Firehawke.

Did you know that each day, cancer claims a classroom full of children in the United States alone? Do you realize that the money that comes to help find a cure for cancer in kids, comes almost completely from private donations?
There is NO bailout coming for our kids with leukemia, lymphoma, sarcoma or any of the disgusting variety of cancers that children face.
These are some of the inspiring words written on the website for the Extra Life charity. Extra Life is a 24-hour gaming marathon which has the goal of raising money for the Texas Children's Hospital cancer center.
This is the second year that this charity marathon has gone on, and last year was an amazing success. We hope to help make it a great success this year as well.

ForteMP3 - The one who started it all on Livestream for the group. He plays just about anything, often switching between emulation of old systems, as well as current gen titles. Also known for playing Rosenkreuzstilette way too much. To the point of being able to beat the game without a single death, in fact.
No - In his words, No likes any game, "as long as it's good." However, if pressed to make a decision, he loves shmups, action games, RPGs, and RTS games. He used to be heavily competitive in Supreme Commander, but that has passed. His favorite game series is Panzer Dragoon, despite the series not seeing a game in years. Also- he has killed this writer quite a few times as a Pyro. Sadness. :(
CX20XX - Commander Keen was the first video game he ever played. If it wasn't for that boy genius, he wouldn't be where he is now, so he owes him his life (or lack thereof). Unfortunately, in his youth he never got to try as many games as the rest of the crew, and even today he tends to stick to the franchises he's familiar with. He's also somewhat scatter brained and rather quiet. If it weren't for people like Forte and Hawke reminding him to branch out and be social, he'd be all too happy to live forever in his own little world. He tends to drift back into it if not watched, but that's ok; they know him there.
Kawatta - The FNG, the rookie. He doesn't talk much, but thats okay, we just need him to listen. Known to have far to many different nicknames and prefers single player FPS games.
Floofy - All gaming groups have the token Japanese reading weeaboo fan. However, in this case, the opinionated Floofy may not be quite what you expect. She is part of two translation projects, one for Ys Origin and the other for Sora no Kiseki, both games developed by Nihon Falcom. Floofy is a huge fan of all things Falcom, and has a secret love for taking on silly adventures, stupidly high difficulty levels, and nintendo-hard platformers. She has also been accused of running the most OCD stream on the site. (Note, there is no denial of this.)
Firehawke - The man with the golden pun leads the Sanctuary Crew because the rest would rather he step on any land mines first. He may be getting a bit on in years (32) but he'll gladly attempt no-continues (1CC) run of Contra and Super C for anyone up late enough to watch!
What you'll be able to see on the stream depends on who has control of the stream at that time. We currently have a tenative schedule for who will be playing, in pairs, live for your entertainment.

4pm to Midnight - CX20XX and Kawatta
Midnight to 8am - Floofy and Firehawke
